I have read the Hannah’s Daughters series off and on for years and am amazed how I fall right back in line with who everyone is in the family. I love getting to use this series for my states challenge as there aren’t a ton of books set in Delaware.
Miriam is the tomboy of the family. She would rather be outside doing barn chores than inside cooking and cleaning. A constant friend in her life has always been Charley. He loves her just the way she is and has set out to win her heart. Except there is a huge snag with the name of John, the local Mennonite veterinarian. Miriam must decide who she wants and what that means for her future.
