I admit when I first started this book I lost interest. That could have been from being sick or the fact I couldn’t care less about the egg. But…the diary from Molly’s gran hooked me so I couldn’t put the book down.

Molly’s gran was something else. A woman who found the secret of life the hard way. True love, if true, will always prevail.

If you never read the first two and the novella in the series I suggest you at least read this. You might a tissue at times.

Another solid read. This was 4.5 stars for me only because I identified so much with Kristen in The Friend Zone.

I did not want to put this book down. I loved getting to see Sloan get her happiness.

The chapter titles made it fun and added to the story.

Oh. My. Goodness. This book was one of the best I’ve ever read. I felt like I was reading some of my own story. My doctor and I fought insurance for years to get my hysterectomy approved at 33. I’ve known since my teens I wouldn’t ever have my own children. I suffered through a lot of the same issues Kristen did. After my hysterectomy all I felt was relief and freedom. Even after getting married at 36 I never regretted the decision.

This book will tear you apart and put you back together again in the best way. Read with tissues and plan to stay up late to read.

I’m already deciding to chuck the other books in my TBR to read the second book.

I am impressed that this series is still so strong at book seventeen. Castillo finds a way to write fresh content and keep the reader engaged.

What a cute clean (zero spice) romance. I enjoyed watching Emmie grow as she started doing something she wanted to do. By doing so she found more than she ever dreamed possible.

Have I Told You Lately is set in the England countryside and a little island about an hour away. You will fall in love with the setting and feel yourself relax as you read.

This was my first Beth Moran book and definitely not my last.

This book was more emotional than I expected. Its main focus is grief and how people work through it differently but everyone needs a tribe to help them through it. My grief journey tribe is completely different than I thought it would be but they are perfect for me. I resonated deeply with all three girls. Sometimes grief hits you hard in the weirdest places. It will take your breath away. Other times it quietly creeps up on you. 

There are plenty of funny scenes as well. Just be prepared to laugh through your snotty crying. 

Spicy yes there are a couple of spicy scenes. 

I would love a book each in the two other sisters as they navigate through their new life. Especially Soph, her husband is a jerk. 

I highly recommend this book to anyone. 

I enjoyed this series finale. I have forgotten who I wanted Beckett to end up with but I’m happy with who she did. He brings out the best in her and she seems genuinely happy.

The mystery flowed well from beginning to end.

This was the perfect escape for me while recovering from pneumonia.

What a beautiful read. I found the story of Leah and Joe enchanting. Sometimes you just know the person who you are meant to with forever.

If you are an Amish fiction/romance and are interested in reading beyond your typical settings of Pennsylvania and Indiana then I heartily recommend Mindy Steele’s books set in my home state of Kentucky.

This is book nine in a series but is perfectly able to read as a standalone.

No matter how many Frieda McFadden books I read or listen to I am always surprised by the twists. One I figured out right before it happened but one I never saw coming.

This book will make you want to keep your kids where you can see them at all times and tell them to be very careful of whom you trust.

A fast paced audiobook that was perfect to listen to while working.

I went into this #audiobook blind. I realized it was leaving #audible on July 1st and I needed to listen to it. It was so good. I found every reason yesterday and this morning to listen. So many emotions.

Military veteran Cam returns home at the request of his father who has early onset Alzheimer’s. He returns home to a town who hates him for things in his past when he was a child. Cam returns home to the woman he has secretly loved for years, Willow.

This book takes you on every emotional journey. Definitely a top ten of 2025 for me.
