Mac’s stars are aligned again for her to find another dead body. This time it happens to be a churlish local that had beef with just about everyone. The worst part of the case if her bestie’s taffy was the vehicle for the murder. Can Mac get her bestie out of the sticky situation?

I read both book one and two back to back and I am glad I did. It let me get very immersed in the lives of Mac and her family and friends. I am excited to report that book three is to be released in November 2021.

I love that Mac has a bike shop on Cape Cod. As I read I feel like I am on vacation without leaving my couch. The author does a wonderful job of describing the scenery. One can almost smell the ocean and feel the wind in your hair.

There are a few curse words but nothing too bad. No detailed sex scenes but unmarried sex alluded so if you have a teenager you would prefer not to read this then it might not be for them. Personally, I would have no issues letting a teenager read this series.
