In October I joined a new book club offered through the Bullitt County Extension Homemakers. We meet once a month and Tuesday was our first book of the year.

This was a reread for me and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. We all agreed it reminded us of a Hallmark movie but in a good way. A comforting read with a happily ever after.

This is such an enjoyable series no matter the time of year. You can read of summer adventures on the coast or cozy up next to a roaring fire on a snowy winterâs night. Beware of evil lurking in the corners.

Debbie Macomber will always be top favorite author. She was the first romance writer that I fell in love with her writing. Every single book has left me a better person. Without harping on it, she reminds us to always be kind to one another.
A Ferry Merry Christmas is filled with such kindness. When a ferry bound for Seattle experiences engine trouble the passengers learn how to lean on each other to make the time pass easier.
Such a delightful read. Out of the three books so far in this series this was my favorite.
