Oh this prequel was such fun. It is my second favorite almost my top favorite of the four prequels.

Georgie is a delight. Nothing scares her and she is so curious and inquisitive. How unfair she lives in a time when women weren’t allowed to do anything without a male around. She is a force to be reckoned with! Nicholas is the perfect match. Content with who he is and ready to let his match be a partner in every way.

I did get the audiobook just to hear the narrator read the cat parts. Hilarious! It was funny reading but listening was so much better. Cathead is a phenomenal character. Grumpy cat had nothing on Cathead.

I do think reading the prequels will make the Bridgerton series much more interesting.

An enjoyable visit with Charlie, Helen, and Diesel. In this addition to the series we get to join Charlie and Helen on their honeymoon to Ireland. Unfortunately, it is not all fun and relaxation. Helen’s Uncle Finn dies suddenly and it’s not an innocent death. Charlie has been asked by the family to help solve the crime.

This book was enjoyable and a refreshing entry. Seeing Charlie outside of Mississippi was interesting. He has wanderlust in his veins from all the books he has read. He is a relatable character as he loves traveling but can’t wait to get home to those near and dear to him.

I took my time reading as I know I have a bit of a wait for our next book.

Wow, each book has a topic that hits you squarely in the solar plexus. Another phenomenal book.

Abby’s book have a stranglehold on me. I can’t gobble them up fast enough. Serious romances with lots of laughter and a spicy scene or two.

This is the type of book I enjoy the most full of multi-generational stories. Family sagas are my favorite. I am already (im)patiently waiting for the conclusion.

Through Eliza we see how hard it was to be taken seriously, treated fairly, and/or to given the chance to carry on a family legacy other than birthing a male heir. We also see the strength one has when they truly want something. I would love to think I could have been that strong in faith, belief, and character.

Learning about the ACE basin has been enchanting. I’ve Ben to and seen parts of it but never grasped the importance of it. I see it through educated eyes now. MAM has such a way to educate you without the reader getting bogged down. A true writing genius.

The audio book was wonderful.

What a beautiful romance. This book is perfect for a Sunday afternoon that you just want a feel good read.

Miriam has been through so much in her short adult life that she is adamant about never remarrying and being responsible for herself. Zaac has watched Miriam from afar and even watched her marry his scoundrel brother. He has watched her grieve his brother’s death and has continued to tamp down his feelings for her. That is until a stormy night while working his aunt’s chocolate shop together they find themselves responsible for a baby dropped at the doorstep.

I admit when I first started this book I lost interest. That could have been from being sick or the fact I couldn’t care less about the egg. But…the diary from Molly’s gran hooked me so I couldn’t put the book down.

Molly’s gran was something else. A woman who found the secret of life the hard way. True love, if true, will always prevail.

If you never read the first two and the novella in the series I suggest you at least read this. You might a tissue at times.

Another solid read. This was 4.5 stars for me only because I identified so much with Kristen in The Friend Zone.

I did not want to put this book down. I loved getting to see Sloan get her happiness.

The chapter titles made it fun and added to the story.

Oh. My. Goodness. This book was one of the best I’ve ever read. I felt like I was reading some of my own story. My doctor and I fought insurance for years to get my hysterectomy approved at 33. I’ve known since my teens I wouldn’t ever have my own children. I suffered through a lot of the same issues Kristen did. After my hysterectomy all I felt was relief and freedom. Even after getting married at 36 I never regretted the decision.

This book will tear you apart and put you back together again in the best way. Read with tissues and plan to stay up late to read.

I’m already deciding to chuck the other books in my TBR to read the second book.

A visit with Kate Burkholder is always a guaranteed heart stopping, adrenaline pumping time.

I am impressed that this series is still so strong at book seventeen. Castillo finds a way to write fresh content and keep the reader engaged.

What a cute clean (zero spice) romance. I enjoyed watching Emmie grow as she started doing something she wanted to do. By doing so she found more than she ever dreamed possible.

Have I Told You Lately is set in the England countryside and a little island about an hour away. You will fall in love with the setting and feel yourself relax as you read.

This was my first Beth Moran book and definitely not my last.
